Coping with hair loss because of cancer treatment

Cancer Treatment

How to be chemo confident

When you’re trying desperately hard to just get on with life while battling cancer, and are about to undergo regular sessions of chemotherapy, it will of course bring about many issues and challenges, and none more so than not being able to control the likelihood of losing your hair – the worst thing about cancer treatment for many people.

It’s not the end of the world!

There is no way around it, many people being treated for cancer will unfortunately lose their hair, but it’s important to know that if you do, it really isn’t the end of the world. There are some fantastic services out there, like the Bei Capelli wig service – natural-looking hairpieces to suit you, that will make you look and feel confident with your appearance when you’re going through a tough time. Always remember too, that if you do lose your locks, it will eventually grow back after treatment, and sometimes it can look even better than before.

Be Prepared

If you know you’re going to undertake medical treatment in the future, then give yourself plenty of time to shop for a wig while you still have hair. Then you can properly find something that works for you and that you will feel comfortable with. This will really help you to prevent feeling anxious when the time comes, as you’ll be fully prepared for whatever life wants to throw at you!
